Heroes Camp is a Christ centered ministry that focuses on fathering and mentoring young men between the ages of 6-13, and 14 on up. Heroes Camp offers food, clothing, shelter, counseling, tutoring, court appearances, haircuts and the Word of God to the Michiana community; all free of charge. Using sports, especially basketball, we reach out to young men who are dealing with everything from gangs and substance abuse, to hunger and fatherlessness.
Co-founded by Pat and B.J. Magley in 1989, the ministry has been a pillar in the community for 19 years and has gained the respect and trust of our community’s youth.
By assuming the fathering role in the lives of the young men who come, Heroes Camp is radically changing countless lives.
