When the Lord spoke to me about this next topic, I could hardly contain myself. I believe that this is the missing part that will completely push our earnest expectations into reality. Romans 8:19 says, “For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].”

Have you ever had the flu and had to lie in bed taking deep breaths in and out and after a while you were so tired that a groan came out of you from the inside that sounded like “uggghhhh”? Take that feeling and sound, that overwhelming ache and transport it to the context of prayer, and you have just discovered a Godly pain and knowing. From that place of grief and inward moaning we pray and intercede. It’s in the place of groaning and prayer that the Holy Spirit takes hold together with us and leads into all truth; into revelation. Prayer is a spiritual incubator that keeps revelation warm, healthy and wet; so that it can grow, mature and ultimately give birth to the will of God. Groaning is a birth canal that you can express the pain of misunderstanding so that you talk with power and live by demonstration. In our belly we push, but in our mind we birth. In order for that revelation to manifest it must move from incubator of our womb to our mind, and then our imagination takes over.

Imagination is a God characteristic. The enemy tries to pervert our thought life by creating a fantasy realm in our minds. He will use drugs, sex, religion, poverty and pride to pervert our imagination. For instance, alcohol brings you into an alter state of mind, but prayer and groaning also bring you into a alter state of mind. Both realms are supernatural, but only one is a sanctified gateway into reality where what’s not seen is more real than what is seen. Fantasy is an illegitimate realm that lends itself to wrong ideas and wrong thought. So now we are walking around with all this great revelation that came through prayer, but our imagination must be sanctified so we don’t mishandle, mishear, misinterpret and miss GOD. God doesn’t care if we are strong in revelation and can walk around articulating what we see. He cares that we are strong in our pursuit to maintain a pure birth canal for that revelation. Everything generates a thought, not always a response. Thoughts without a frame run rampid. Prayer provides that frameworks. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but testing knocks it in.

So we have the groan, being impregnated by the seed of revelation. Then as that revelation grows, it moves to the womb of our mind where we begin to imagine what God said to us. We begin to see the details and color of our revelation. Then God gives material form to the vision; He makes the Word incarnate. In Ephesians 1: 17-19, Apostle Paul says, “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength.” That Power expulsion is this: the seed of revelation (to know Him better) which breeds healthy imagination (that the eyes of heart be enlightened) and finally manifestation into reality (know by experience his riches and calling).

We’re stuck in a system that is too slow for us and morality doesn’t require us to use faith. Whatever you see yourself doing and being, don’t let the devil down play it. According to Ephesians get your hopes up high and prepare for manifestation.
